Protect the coating while it cures

Keep the lenses dry and untouched.

You may drive the vehicle, but keep the lenses dry. Do not wash, touch or wipe them, apply any product, or let a car cover rub against them.

If they get wet, allow them to air-dry. Do not wipe. Contact REZ if the finish looks disturbed once dry.

Do / Avoid

Recommended care

  • Rinse away loose dirt before touching the lens.
  • Use pH-neutral car shampoo and a clean, soft microfibre mitt.
  • After 24 hours, dry gently with a clean microfibre towel.
  • Park under cover or in shade where practical.

Please avoid

  • Abrasive polish, compound, sandpaper, scouring pads or bug sponges.
  • Strong solvents, harsh degreasers, wheel cleaner or unknown chemicals.
  • Brush car washes or pressure-washing close to lens edges.
  • DIY coatings, adhesive film or picking at the protective finish.

What to expect

Protected for the road ahead.

Your exterior lenses have been restored and protected with a UV ceramic coating designed to last up to 3 years. Actual life varies with sun exposure, parking, kilometres, washing, road debris and the starting condition.

External restoration cannot repair internal haze or moisture, failed seals, electrical faults, broken mounts, deep cracks or crazing, severe pitting, or future impact damage.
